Library
The Library is an active part of college life. Students are able to borrow from a vast collection of books, ebooks, audiobooks and online databases through our Library Catalogue "Accessit". We have a variety of student study spaces, including group study, silent study, a bookable mentoring room and computer study (both in the Library and through laptop loans). The library team will often help within lessons and be ready with advice on further study and research when you need it. We offer “Book a Librarian” sessions to help students with their coursework, as well as running regular induction and citation classes. We have a student book club, gothic and horror book club and offer a Library Champion scheme so that students can gain work experience volunteering in the Library. The Library is open to students throughout the college day (8.30am to 5pm - but we close at 4.30pm on Fridays). We are also open during some of the school holidays and dates are advertised to students in advance.
