The Sixth Form College is situated in the heart of the historic Roman town of Colchester, a thriving, modern town with many great visitor attractions. See Visit Colchester for details. It is 51 miles (82 km) northeast of London and connected to the capital by the A12 road and the Great Eastern Main Line. It is seen as a popular town for commuters and is less than 30 miles (48 km) away from Stansted Airport and 20 miles (32 km) from the passenger ferry port of Harwich.

BY CAR

Following the implementation of a bus lane on North Hill, it is not possible for general traffic to proceed ‘up’ North Hill (from the North). The only ‘up’ access is for buses, taxis and emergency vehicles. All general traffic wishing to access or use North Hill, will therefore need to travel ‘down’ North Hill (from the South) from Head Street.

BY FOOT

In the High St. head east (towards the Jumbo water tower and away from the castle) and continue until you come to the junction at the end of the high street, where it meets Head St.. Cross over at the pedestrian lights and turn right into North Hill. Continue down the hill on the left hand side for approximately 100 yards. The main entrance to the College can be found immediately before a two storey tudor building.
